The Cantt. Board Jalapahar  maintains one dispensary. There is one RMO on contractual basis. Minor treatment are done in the dispensary and major treatment are referred to Darjeeling District Hospital. The Cantt. Board Employees and their dependents are provided with medical facilities and free medicines through the Cantt Board Dispensary. A health checkup camp for school children, Staffs, senior citizens and Polio Vaccination are organized from time to time.
A general health checkup for the residents ,senior citizens and school children for the year 2019 had been conducted. International Yog  Diwas were observed to spread Health awareness among the Public of Jalapahar Cantt. Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan have been celebrated and the message of Swachhata have been spread among the employees, residents, students of this Cantt. for better hygiene .
